Directions to Linwood House

Your Sunshine Coast Retreat Centre

Located in the peaceful forest of Roberts Creek on BC’s Sunshine Coast, Linwood House is easy to reach from both the Langdale Ferry Terminal and Sechelt. Follow the directions below for a smooth drive to our retreat centre, with key landmarks to guide you along the way.

From the Langdale Ferry Terminal (~15 minutes)

  1. Exit the ferry terminal and follow the signs up the hill, turning left at the top
  2. Turn/merge right at the intersection onto North Road
  3. Continue into Gibsons and turn right at the lights
  4. Continue on Hwy 101 through and out of Gibsons — approximately 10 minutes
  5. As you drive in to Roberts Creek, watch for the traffic lights at the Roberts Creek Road intersection — this is your landmark
  6. At the lights, turn right onto Roberts Creek Road, heading up the hill away from the ocean
  7. Follow the road uphill — note that Roberts Creek Road becomes Lockyer Road at the stop sign partway up; simply continue straight through
  8. Continue uphill to a five-way intersection with a cluster of mailboxes on your right
  9. Turn left onto Linwood Road
  10. 3144 Linwood Road will be your first right. Pull all the way up the driveway — approximately 100 metres — and park to your right underneath the trees

Total driving time from the ferry: approximately 15 minutes

From Sechelt (~20 minutes)

  1. Head southeast on Hwy 101 toward Roberts Creek and Gibsons
  2. Pass through the picturesque seaside community of Davis Bay, then Wilson Creek, and continue on Hwy 101
  3. As you enter Roberts Creek village, watch for the traffic lights at the Roberts Creek Road intersection — this is your landmark
  4. At the lights, turn left onto Roberts Creek Road, heading up the hill away from the ocean
  5. Follow the road uphill — note that Roberts Creek Road becomes Lockyer Road at the stop sign partway up; simply continue straight through
